It’s been in the work for a few years but FRANK 151 has officially release the Minneapolis Lumber Jacker cap. We’ll be giving a few away at the annual Dre Day celebration at the Triple Rock on February 18th, 2010!
Read the official release notes here: Minneapolis is a city long known for its wealth of timber. It became the saw-milling capital of the country in the 1860s, and at the turn of the century, more than 20,000 lumberjacks populated the state of Minnesota. These men worked tirelessly to provide Americans with raw building material for everything from their homes to their ships. The Lumber Jackers logo borrows the Minneapolis basketball colorway and employs a thick, sturdy font. Featured prominently in the center of the logo is an “M,” created using the silhouette of a white pine, the tree of choice during the golden age of Minneapolis lumberjacking. The Lumber Jackers logo stands for fearlessness, dedication to your work, and brute strength. The Lumberjackers cap is constructed in a blue and green flannel with a black underbill, embroidered team logo on the front, and embroidered city name in the back.
