In 2009 I worked on a collaborative project with fellow associates and comrades Matt Van Ekeren, Molly Hein and Catherine Grothe on a redesign of Emil Ruder’s classic book “Typograpie.” We took his book and turned it into a book in a box that included a motion graphic piece on setting up your type, a poster that pulled important Ruder quotes, accordion fold pieces on the history of typography, and a set of Universe 65 hand made stamps. After long nights of construction the final product turned out beautiful!
The book in a box has recently caught the eye of website Typography Served where it is currently a feature. Check out here and for more photos of the project peep it on my portfolio page here.
